Work With Us

Learn authentic Chinese weightlifting techniques from one of the original masters. With decades of experience as both an elite athlete and coach, Coach Ma delivers his expertise through Online Coaching. Accelerate your progress, surpass personal records, and train with the precision of China’s top lifters.

Chinese Weightlifting Technique

Unlike many online coaches, we welcome your questions and actively invite feedback. Chinese weightlifting techniques are complex and require precise instruction to master. Building a proper foundation demands time, effort, and patience, and our priority is to ensure you learn these skills correctly.

Unlimited Feedback

Everyone has different strengths, weaknesses, needs, and goals. That’s why every athlete requires an individualized program tailored to their schedule—no templates or one-size-fits-all plans. We monitor your progress weekly to ensure you’re on the right track and advancing at the optimal pace.

Individualized Programming

We offer a structured, curriculum-based education that comprehensively covers all aspects of Chinese weightlifting. Biweekly online lectures will review theory and the rationale behind each movement, ensuring a deep understanding of technique and training principles. Membership includes full access to our course videos and accompanying notes.

Curriculum based Progression

Participants must be able to train safely in a gym environment with appropriate equipment.

Athletes must be 18 years or older, or have written consent from a parent or legal guardian.

  • Athletes submit training videos via agreed platforms (WhatsApp & Google Meet).

Feedback is provided by qualified and trained Olympic Weightlifting coaches educated in the Chinese Weightlifting System and Ma Weightlifting methodology.

    Feedback may include:

    • Technical analysis

    • Corrections and coaching cues

    • Progression and load recommendations

    Feedback structure and limits:

    • Unlimited Feedback within fair use. Please refer to the fair use policy below.

    • Ongoing “free flow” communication related to submitted training, within reasonable use and stated response-time expectations

    • Coach Ma conducts formal monthly reviews, including video packages, written notes, and structured technical summaries

    Video submission requirements:

    • Videos must be trimmed to under 1 minute

    • Each submission must be clearly labelled (day, exercise, weight, percentage, set)

    • Acceptable angles: Side, or 45-degree view for bar path analysis

Fair use means communication that is reasonable, respectful of time, and aligned with effective coaching, allowing us to support all athletes at a high standard.

  • What Fair Use Looks Like

    • Submitting training videos, questions, or updates in reasonable batches

    • Allowing a reasonable response window for feedback and replies

    • Using feedback to guide training, not expecting real-time conversation

    • Communicating with professionalism and mutual respect

What Fair Use Does Not Include

    • Expecting immediate or on-demand responses

    • Excessive daily messaging or repeated follow-ups before a reply is given

    • Using feedback channels as continuous real-time coaching

    • Requests unrelated to training, technique, or programming

    Our Commitment

We aim to provide clear, thoughtful, and actionable feedback within a reasonable timeframe, while maintaining quality coaching for all athletes.

If communication consistently exceeds fair use, we may:

    • Adjust response frequency

    • Suggest a higher-touch coaching option

    • Set structured check-in times

This ensures fairness and the best coaching experience for everyone.
